On the 17th September, a team of 12 PSS staff will be taking part in the Nuclear Blast 5km in aid of The Children’s Burns Club (CBC); a charity which supports children in London and the South East who have suffered burns injuries.

As our way of fundraising for this amazing charity a team of 12 PSS staff will be taking part in the Nuclear Blast; a 5km obstacle loaded course over mixed, muddy terrain. If you would like to sponsor us please visit our Just Giving Page (see below weblink).
Based in Essex, The Children’s Burns Club provides opportunities to meet other children and families who have had a similar experience as well as offering various opportunities for support and rehabilitation. The Clubs aim is to provide this support in the way of events which include activities that are both fun and challenging, in order to help build self-esteem. The Club also runs workshops and support groups alongside such event offering support, guidance and a platform for members and their families to openly share information.
The charity falls under the umbrella of the Mid Essex Hospital Trust, therefore the hospital fund all staffing costs so that any raised monies go directly to benefit the Clubs members and their families.
